The crown at the bottom is the symbol of the Knights of the York Cross of Honor, referenced at lower right on the tomb. The York Rite is one of the major Masonic orders. Note that the fourth symbol on the crown is that of the Knights Templar. The modern Knights Templar is an organization within Freemasonry, generally associated with the York Rite.
